We are currently seeking Electrical Supervisors & Electricians to join our team. We have both Shutdown and Project options available, working 2:1 or 3:1 Rosters, FIFO from Perth. We are looking to build a core crew of personnel who are committed to seeing the job to the end and want to continue with rolling shutdowns or longer-term projects.

Control System Engineers

We are seeking to add to our experienced team and require Junior, Senior and Lead Control Engineers with: 

  1. Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Mechatronics)
  2. Strong IT skills
  3. Networks
  4. PLC and SCADA Design
  5. Electrical design exposure
  6. Strong technical skills
  7. AutoCad / MicroStation exposure
  8. Review against Australian Standards and Codes, with knowledge of WA Mining Codes

You will also need:

  1. Experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control System design and commissioning
  2. Knowledge of mobile machines would be preferential:

Engineering Manager

We currently have an opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join us and support our dynamic and diverse team!

Key responsibilities:

  1. Undertake role of Engineering Manager for the discipline’s project scope of work, and supervise engineers as defined by project organisation chart
  2. Independently generate engineering deliverables to meet project, statutory and to project schedules
  3. Review engineering deliverables as required by our SG Controls check processes
  4. Assist assigned Project Manager / Engineering Discipline Leader define resource requirements and engineering document deliverables to meet project technical and schedule requirements

You will also need:

  1. Recognised bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Process, Computer Science or Mechatronics
  2. Competency Demonstration Report issued through the Institution of Engineers Australia
  3. Experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control System design and commissioning
  4. Full project exposure from design through to commissioning
  5. Have a strong development and commissioning background
  6. The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  7. Have initiative, flexibility and the ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

 Desirable experience in:

  1. Rockwell PLC's and SCADA including RsLogix and Factory Talk
  2. Schneider PLC's and SCADA including Quantum, M340, M580, Unity Pro, Citect, ClearSCADA and Wonderware
  3. GE Fanuc PLC's and Cimplicity SCADA
  4. Siemens S7 and WinCC SCADA
  5. VSD configuration and commissioning
  6. Fibre optic networks, networks and telemetry experience would be advantageous
  7. Knowledge of mobile machines would be preferential:
  8. Stackers
  9. Reclaimers
  10. Ship loading and Unloading

Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are growing and have multiple opportunities for experienced Electrical Design Engineers to join our friendly team in a permanent full-time capacity.

About You

To be considered for the role you will be able to hit ground running and have the below attributes and experience.

  1. At least 3+ years’ experience working within the resources industry
  2. Ability to produce single line diagrams, electrical schematics, and termination diagrams
  3. Ability to produce cable schedules, instrumentation schedules, I/O lists
  4. Proven experience tracking hours to project scope and budget
  5. Assemble manufacturing documentation packages such as work packs and MDRs
  6. Experience writing technical documents such as test procedures, commissioning plans etc.
  7. Full project exposure from design to commissioning
  8. AutoCAD, Microstation (desirable).
  9. Ability to interpret client documentation, P&IDs and electrical documentation
  10. Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  11. Experience in a switchboard manufacturing environment
  12. Experience in an electrical plant design
  13. Previous experience in an EPC contracting environment (desirable but not essential)
